Victor Reader Stream - an Overview
A number of my blind and partially sighted clients now use a Victor Reader Stream, so I thought it a good time to share some information about it on this website. My clients use it for a number of things. Here's some of them:
The Victor Reader Stream is made by Humanware.
It's such a compact little machine. Here's a couple of videos to give you some idea about it.

My verdict?
If you have any DAISY format books on CD and are tired of carting around a chunky DAISY player, you can probably transfer the files of your whole DAISY library onto one small SD card. You can navigate really quickly through them and bookmark your favourite parts.
Taking a long flight? transfer several audio books and the time will, excuse the pun, fly by.
- to listen to to mp3 music files;
- listen to DAISY format books;
- listen to other audio audio books such as those from Audible;
- listen to mp3 audio files and books;
- listen to text files;
- have a library of voice notes.

Well it'is a fantastic little device.If you have any DAISY format books on CD and are tired of carting around a chunky DAISY player, you can probably transfer the files of your whole DAISY library onto one small SD card.
