Summer Singing 2025

What is it?

We’ll be meeting for 8 singing sessions on Thursdays, through the summer learning songs for Sing for Water London on September 14th.

8 sessions aren't really going to be sufficient for those of us planning on going to London, so there will be some extra sessions which I will offer on a pay-as-you-go basis. We'll work out the best times for these when we meet.

There’s no obligation to come to London at all. You can just come and learn the songs, and you will be more than welcome to come to the extra sessions.

When and Where?

The Thursday evenings will be from 7 to 9 at Conway Road Methodist Church - in the hall underneath. There is step free access and an accessible toilet. 

We’re starting on Thursday, July 24th, and the last Thursday session will be 11th September.

Who with?

I’m Rebecca Ballard. I’m a member of the Natural Voice Network. I sing regularly with Laura Bradshaw’s Cardiff Canton Singers and cover for her from time to time. I also run occasional workshops and for the past few years have offered Summer Singing sessions for those of us who like to keep singing when people who lead Community Choirs every week, take a well-earned break!

How can I sign up?

Please sign up by clicking on the "Buy Now" button. You can pay the full amount now and or pay the £2.00 deposit (or the first PAYG instalment) so I know you’re coming and you’ll get access to the sounds files before we start. 

You can pay by card and you will have the option to pay by bank transfer. I'm happy for people to give me cash at the first session too, but please sign up first and pay the deposit (using the bank transfer option) or I won't know you are coming and you won’t get the information about learning tracks etc.
