Windows 8 and Accessibility

Many of us are aware that Microsoft is preparing the next version of its Windows Operating System (OS). for those of us interest in assistive technology the big question is what they are building in the the new OS in terms of its accessibility. Freedom Scientific about to release JAWS for Windows 9.0 as Public Beta

Freedom Scientific have just announced that they are to release a public Beta for version 9 of Jaws. We'll be able to download it from 1st October so I'll be doing that and will report back. However here's a flavour of what they are promising:
